Ileana's Clothing, Toy, and Book Drive a Success!
Thank you to Ileana (Grade 1) and her family for organizing a very successful drive for clothing, toys, and supplies for expectant mothers, infants, children, and impoverished mothers.
Sophia (Grade 7) gives up gifts for donations!
Sophia decided that she'd rather not have birthday presents on her special day last week. Instead she asked friends and family to make a donation to fund research and treatment of brain tumors. Your altruism is an inspiration to us all, Sophia!
Maddie (Grade 6) is the 307th person in the world to recite 36 digits of pi! Well done Maddie!

Our school champion, Emily, competed in the SF Chronicle Spelling Bee on February 16th! This was the written portion of the competition, and we are excited to get the results soon. We're proud of you, Emily! Way to represent Hilldale!
