Official, mandatory parent-teacher conference days are scheduled in the fall. On those days, school will end right before lunch, and the children may be picked up at that time or may be left in extended care. Conferences will be held online.

 

These conferences are held shortly after the mid-term progress report (early November) in order to provide parents/guardians an opportunity to discuss and influence student progress. Students may attend, if the parent desires.

 

While the fall conference is required, there is an additional optional conference time in the Spring. Furthermore, conferences are always available by appointment if your child has any areas of academic or behavioral concern. 

 

Parents will sign up for the conferences through Calendly (an online program), and it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make and keep the appointments in a timely manner.

 

Parents or teachers may also request additional conferences with teachers or the vice principal at any time when there is a concern. They are also encouraged to maintain open and effective communication regarding student progress or problems so that each student can be supported in developing to their full potential.
