Fourth Graders are preparing for the upcoming transition to Middle School! Fourth Graders engage in the study of Ancient World History and many of their novels are historical fiction set in countries around the world. Students are learning how to write literary response essays with a thesis statement. All work is submitted typed or in cursive. New for the Fourth Graders is Latin, book clubs, negative numbers, writing and presenting speeches, historical simulations, and exciting ways to integrate digital literacy into their learning.
