If you scroll down our School News section, you will see our very own Bridgette winning gold in the 2019 NorCal Gymnastics States Competition. One year later Bridgette, now in 8th grade, has done it again! Bridgette competed in the California Dreamin' Invitational gymnastics competition at Solano Community College where she finished first place on the vault, and completed the contest 4th overall out of 25 competitors in her Xcel Platinum Program, the fourth level of the USA Gymnastics that is in conjunction with the Junior Olympic (JO) program.

Bridgette, 14, competed in the floor, bars, beam and the vault where she earned the top score of 9.375 and locking in the gold for herself and her Gymtowne SSF squad. Bridgette started performing gymnastics at the age of seven and under the tutelage of her coaches at Gymtowne SSF, Bridgette slowly ascended the ranks and is tumbling, twisting, cartwheeling and somersaulting her way to success. When prompted to dispense any advice to her fellow Hilldale students and aspiring gymnasts Bridgette paused for a moment before saying "Listen to your coaches, they know better.” Ever the professional she also added "Get over your mental blocks because your mental blocks slow you down." Excellent advice from our golden gymnast, independent, life-long learner, and Hilldale Hawk Bridgette. Your Hilldale family is immensely proud of you!
