Fourth - Eighth Grade Field Trip to SF Symphony

Where

Symphony at Davies Hall, San Francisco & The Asian Arts Museum

Students in Grades 4-8 will be attending the San Francisco Symphony for involvement in the arts and hear "Music of San Francisco, Music of the World!"

Which will include:
Copland: Fanfare for the Common Man
Dvořák: Scherzo from Symphony No. 9, New World (excerpt)
Joplin: Maple Leaf Rag
Mao Yuan: Dance of the Yao People
Márquez: Danzón No. 2 (excerpt)
Guthrie: This Land is Your Land (sing-along)
Offenbach: Can-Can from Orpheus in the Underworld

They will then be heading to The Asian Arts Museum, where the children will choose a specific piece to each write about.
