Parent generosity helps support the entire Hilldale community. When this support comes in the form of monetary gifts, the students and teachers benefit directly. Please find a way to support the school that works for you.
Parents are encouraged to give back to the school in whatever means is best for their family. If parents have the financial means to contribute to teacher classroom funds, school development projects, or the teacher professional development fund, they can contribute through the Hilldale School Family Association, a non-profit organization which is designed to support and enhance the experience for the students of Hilldale School. Parents are encouraged to reach out to the Family Association president or the principal to contribute. The Family Association 501(c)(3) tax ID is 20-2559308.
Each classroom has a wish list on the “Hilldale School Family Association” Amazon Smile page. If a family wishes to purchase a game, project materials, or books, please be sure to include your name and the class on the “gift note” so that the office knows for whom the gifts are meant and how to thank you for your kindness.
Sometimes parents wish to purchase a gift for a teacher, whether for a birthday, holiday, teacher appreciation, or end of year event. No gifts are expected, and parents should not feel under any obligation to purchase or contribute to a teacher gift. Nevertheless, gifts are always welcome and appreciated. In order to help families know what a specific teacher likes and dislikes, the website has a page dedicated to “Gift Giving Ideas.”
