Research the Patriot Act and what powers it created for the government and what rights it infringed upon for U.S. citizens. Also, research what shall be done to acquire the land along the U.S. southern border to build a border wall. Report back in class on Wed. with your findings. You can post articles to refer to on Google classroom.

Make sure you have looked at my feedback on your research concerning the debate over building a wall on our Google classroom. Please make adjustments to your research if necessary for this Wednesday and be ready to debate the other side of the issue. Looking forward to it.

An article that you shall present to the class. As we did not have class on Wed. the 19th we shall be covering the current event this week. Next week you shall have another analysis of a current event due. Thank you. 

 

Bring a significant news event that you have read and summarized for me. I expect well thought out and detailed summaries. The article you select should be at least 2-3 pages in length so that there is enough to talk about in your summary and critical thinking points.
