Here's my Question of the Week:

Voyager 2 has left the building! Or more like our solar system. Do you remember the messages scientists and artists left on Voyager 2 to any intelligent beings that might receive them one day? The messages are basically calling cards from Earth as it has our return address, information about who we are, where we are, etc. Now my question is this:

If you were alive in 1977, and you were given the chance to leave a message that will be carried aboard by Voyager 2, what will your message be and why?

Hey 5th!
 
Are you enjoying learning and creating simple budgets using Google Sheets in Tech class? I’m having fun creating simulated budgets with you that’s for sure. For Friday, November 30, we will continue to work on our simulated shopping budgets. So what are you buying and where? Read on:
 
1. Ask your parents for permission to go online. Go to the Barnes and Noble website which is BN.com. 
 
2. Browse books, videos, magazines, records, etc. Get an idea of what you wish to get. You don’t need to create a wishlist but feel free to make a short list of your items. 
 
3. On Friday, we will go to BN.com and we will go on a “shopping spree”! Yay! Okay, we’re not really buying anything but we will create a shopping list on Google Sheets, you will compute the total amount, and see if you are under budget.
 
4. How much is the budget? I’ll tell you on Friday.
 
I won’t be in school tomorrow (11/29) for a conference but I’ll see you on Friday. Questions? Post it on Google Classroom.
