On Thursday, October 18th, the Pre-Kindergarten students will be attending a field trip to Lemos Farm. The students will enjoy this fun trip where they will be learning about the fall harvest and pumpkins. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides, hay rides, bouncy house, playtime area, and a not so scary haunted house. This online permission slip is due by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 10th.
Students will be traveling by car to Lemos Farm, located at 12320 San Mateo Road in Half Moon Bay. Students and chaperones will leave Hilldale at 9:00 a.m. and will return at 2:15 p.m.
Students should wear jeans or pants they can get dirty as we will be riding ponies. The weather can be variable so please have children dress in layers. If your child has a Hilldale fleece jacket, please dress them in it.
Students should bring lunch and a snack. There will be a place for us to store lunch bags.
We would love for as many parents as are able to join us as chaperones. Student tickets are $13.50 each. Please write a check for this amount and give the payment to the Pre-K teachers. Chaperone tickets are $2 each. If you will be a chaperone you can add the cost of your ticket to the student price and just make one payment of $15.50. Please hand checks in to Ms. Clotile by Tuesday, October 2nd. There are no fees for parking.
Chaperones will need to be prepared to add booster seats or car seats to their cars to accommodate other students. Parents who are not driving, it is imperative that you leave your child's booster seat or car seat at school. Otherwise, your child will not be able to attend.
