Student Council (with the help of Chris Johansson) will be requesting cards, pictures, and notes from our Hilldale students to send to sick children who will spend the holidays in California Pacific Medical Center. We are requesting that parents do not purchase toys for these sick children unless the funds come from your child's allowance, piggy bank, or trade for chores completed around the house. New gifts should be items that children can play with while in bed - including books, art supplies, hand-held toys, and the like. Again, this is not a toy drive. This is a chance for our kids to reach out to other kids through kindness and charity. No used toys will be accepted. Thank you for encouraging your child to reach out through a letter, card, or picture!
