The Parent Discussions are informal gatherings for parents to share their frustrations, experiences, and hope regarding a variety of topics.  All voices are equal and valued.

Hilldale has been using "The Unthinkables" as a component of character development.  Students are empowered by the Virtues of the Month to conquer the villainous thoughts that the "The Unthinkables" represent.  In "conquering" these characters, our children learn to regulate their behavior by overcoming troublesome thoughts.  

Find out about how Rock Brain, Glassman, Mean Jean, and a slew of other characters can help your children in their social-emotional development.  Some families have found that using the characters at home increases their impact.   We welcome you to join this discussion!
