What: Grandparents' Day & Spelling Bee - FULL DRESS (TK-8)
When: 9/14/2018, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Where: Meet in Courtyard

All-School Spelling Bee:

During this exciting event, winners of the class bees will compete together to determine who will become Hilldale's Lower School Champion and All-School Champion! The all-school champion is eligible to compete in the SF Chronicle's Spelling Bee.

This is a MANDATORY FULL DRESS day for all students. Parents of competitors are welcome to attend!

Grandparents' Day:

Grandparents are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will be celebrating Grandparents' Day with refreshments and classroom visits and a Spelling Bee performance!

1:00 Arrival and assembly

1:15 Cookies and tours (cookies & recess for those without grandparents)

1:45 Spelling Bee

3:00 T-K Grandparents' Day party

3:30 Dismissal

If your child does not have a grandparent for the event, that is just fine. Only about 20-25% of children will have a grandparent present. Moms and dads should not come in lieu of grandparents, but godparents, and great aunts and uncles are welcome if grandparents cannot make it!
